NOYC’s own Lesson #1 dominates the GYA Challenge Cup A fleet! (again)
NOYC Team finishes 2nd overall!
In an all too familiar refrain, NOYC A class sailors continue to own the A class. Racing in a class fat with Melges 32’s from around the Gulf Coast and achieving four bullets in seven races with many boat for boat, they brought home the Buddy Freidrichs Memorial Trophy to the club. With the team from Zephyr v2.0 pulling in a phenomenal 2nd overall in Class C and the stalwart crew of Koala pulling in a 3rd overall in Class D – an overall Challenge Cup victory was incredibly close.
Great job to all four crews, our Challenge Cup Captain, Riley Stogner, and everyone on the team support side.
