US Sailing Advanced Race Management Seminar

Southern Yacht Club is hosting a US Sailing Advanced Race Management Seminar Saturday & Sunday January 21-22.

This seminar is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to be certified as a US Sailing Club, Regional or National Race officer.

This seminar is also helpful for anyone serving on the Race Committee of their local club.

Seminar materials are printed and delivered in advance of the seminar, so advanced registration is required.

Seating is limited to 20. Please, no walk-in registrations.

PHRF Skippers Meeting – Thursday 10/29 at 1930 at Tammany Yacht Club. Sailing Instructions will be available at this meeting.

Five races are scheduled. There shall be no make-up races.

Boating Education Course, Saturday, July 27

A boating safety class sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013. The day long class (8am – 5pm) is required to operate a power vessel over 10hp for those born in 1984 or later. To register email Ed  Huntsman.  The course is free, however make sure to bring a lunch.
